What sponsorship is, and is not. Sponsoring SceneView is a contribution to an open source project and a public thank-you. It does not buy support, private features, early access or priority on issues: everything we build is public, for everyone, at the same time. A sponsor’s logo is an acknowledgement, not an endorsement, and it never changes which tools and services the documentation recommends. We do not accept sponsorships whose purpose is a link for search ranking, and we do not place sponsor messages in the SDK, in the MCP server’s output, in install scripts or in llms.txt.

Where the money goes

SceneView’s funds are held by Open Source Collective, the fiscal host. They pay for what the project consumes:

  • Infrastructure — release, build and device-test infrastructure
  • Test devices — for ARCore and ARKit
  • Maintenance tooling
  • Security work — a security pass on the code that parses untrusted 3D files (glTF/GLB, USDZ, 3MF), and signed, provenance-attested releases on Maven Central, npm and Swift Package Manager

Every contribution and every expense is on the public ledger on Open Collective.
